Athletes are categorized into two classifications – professional and amateur athletes. An amateur athlete is not compensated for anything he does on and off the field. However, knowing the Name, Image, and Likeness rights enables them to seize the chances adequately provided to them. Furthermore, we must endeavor to educate every student-athletes about the opportunities they possess as athletes and provide them with guidance on how to responsibly exercise their right to publicity to generate profit in various ways.
